Job DescriptionQuality Manager 50,000Birmingham A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager within an SME specialising in quality and performance in Birmingham Were seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Manager to lead a small team and drive continuous improvement across the business.Key Responsibilities:Manage a small team, setting goals and KPIsManaging all company quality procedures and compliance in line with ISO9001, AS9100, and NADCAP standardLead all internal and external audits, non-conformance resolution, and risk management activities Manage all RCCA, Root Cause Corrective ActionsPerform self assessments for NADCAP and preparation for external audits Collaborate with customers and suppliers to uphold robust quality standardsEnsure compliance with legal, safety, and customer-specific requirementsManage and develop the Quality team while promoting a continuous improvement cultureTake ownership of quality metrics, training, product release, and system documentationSupport production planning, calibration control, contract reviews, and performance reportingAbout You:You must have quality assurance credentials and be compliant in quality within aerospace or Defence ideally Strong working knowledge of and accreditations ISO 9001, AS9100, EN14001 JOSCAR and NADCAP StandardExperience with aerospace or MOD sector standards and Quality processesDetail-driven with excellent written and verbal communication skillsConfident in managing audits, developing procedures, and liaising with cross-functional teamsBackground in Quality management and testing, or metallurgical analysisForward-thinking, solutions-focused, and motivated by measurable outcomeHave a Background in Quality management and testing, or metallurgical analysisExperience in maintaining NADCAP approvalsPrevious exposure to aerospace customer quality requirementsHoursThis role is an onsite position working 38 hours per week 8am 4.45pm and early finish on fridaysSalary Paying 50,000 per annum depending on experience + benefits
