Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive Location : Birmingham Salary : 45,000 - 55,000 (DOE) Hours : Full-time Dunwall Associates are working with a leading Birmingham law firm looking to add a talented Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to their growing team. If you're ready to take ownership of your own caseload, work closely with experienced colleagues, and carve out a clear route to Head of Department, this is a role that offers genuine career growth, autonomy, and progression. The Role You'll manage a broad range of private client work, including: Drafting Wills, Trusts, and Probate Applications Preparing LPAs and Court of Protection applications Advising elderly and vulnerable clients Handling both contentious and non-contentious probate Drafting Deeds of Variation and managing estate administration Liaising with solicitors, the Probate Registry, Land Registry, and other third parties This is a hands-on role where you'll have the chance to make a real impact delivering outstanding client service while helping to shape the future of the department. What We're Looking For 2+ years PQE as a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive Strong technical expertise across wills, probate, and trusts Confident communicator with excellent client care skills Able to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision Commercially minded and proactive, with ambition to grow into a leadership role Desirable experience includes advising on inheritance tax mitigation, estate planning, and working alongside IFAs and accountants on complex client matters.
