The Opportunity: Given the staff retention within this business and them only focussing on very notable major high-end schemes they very rarely have job openings in their Midlands region. This is a very rare opportunity for a Commercial Manager to take the lead on a major flagship scheme for them. This is a unique chance to lead the commercial project team and play a pivotal role in shaping the successful delivery of this high-profile scheme whilst building your career with a contractor known for innovation and excellence. Key Responsibilities: Manage and lead ALL commercial aspects of project, from procurement through to final accounts. Provide accurate forecasting of project costs and value. Ensure effective cost control, cash flow management, and profitability. Work closely with project teams to monitor progress and manage risks. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance. Support the delivery of value engineering and sustainable construction solutions. Key Requirements : Holds a degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Has proven experience working as Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Lead within the construction industry (main contractor experience preferred). Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills. Excellent knowledge of construction contracts and procurement. Able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and accuracy.
