OverviewUK Pharma Lead – Life Science & Pharma Global Service Line, Buildings UK. Ramboll is seeking to hire a Director, UK Pharma Lead for its Life Science & Pharma Global Service Line within Buildings UK to develop and grow our client base with globally leading pharmaceutical companies operating in the UK. You will shape Ramboll’s strategic offering to pharmaceutical clients, supporting growth and strengthening our position in the UK market. You will work closely with Ramboll colleagues across the UK and internationally to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions for our clients. Your new roleWe are looking for a Director who will develop and grow Ramboll’s relationships and offering to pharmaceutical clients in the UK. The role will be multi-facetted including: Being our lead and point of contact within Buildings, and the Global Service Line, for Pharma in the UK. Establish and grow our UK client base within the pharmaceutical industry by building new relationships, leveraging Ramboll’s existing global and cross–business area relationships, and maintaining trusted partnerships with clients, collaborators, and colleagues. Identifying, tracking and pursuing opportunities within the Life Science & Pharma market. Leading or contributing to strategic bids and proposals – coordinating multidisciplinary teams, commercial and legal inputs. Develop a deep knowledge and understanding of Ramboll’s capabilities across the UK and globally and connecting these capabilities to client needs. Working closely with colleagues across the Global Service Line in the UK, Denmark, and Sweden to leverage technical expertise and specialist capabilities. Contributing to the development of our UK Life Science & Pharma capabilities and supporting strategic capacity planning. Raising Ramboll’s profile and reputation in the market through networking, client and partner engagement and industry events. Acting as Project or Programme Director for projects for pharmaceutical clients. Leading multi-disciplinary project teams, supported by Project and Design Managers. Coaching, mentoring and supporting the development of our teams to strengthen Ramboll’s Life Science & Pharma expertise. This role can be based in any of our UK Buildings offices (London, Cambridge, Bristol, Birmingham, Chester, or Manchester) with a requirement to travel to Ramboll and client sites, and the opportunity to work in a hybrid office / home location. Your new teamYou will join our dynamic UK Buildings division of more than 550 colleagues, in our Life Science & Pharma Service Line. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across Ramboll’s Buildings organisation and with our global Life Science & Pharma Service Line teams in the UK, Denmark, and Sweden, and with specialists across other Ramboll business areas. You will also become part of the UK Life Science & Pharma Service Line leadership team, working alongside other Directors to shape the strategic priorities that will support our continued growth.
