Job Description National Key Account ManagerAbout the RoleWere looking for a commercially driven and relationship-focused National Key Account Manager to join our Sales team.In this role, youll take ownership of a portfolio of national customers across merchants, retail, and buying groups. Youll be responsible for strengthening existing partnerships while identifying and securing new business opportunitiesworking closely with key decision-makers including category managers, buyers, and directors.This is a highly visible, strategic role where your ability to influence, collaborate, and deliver growth will make a direct impact.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and grow national customer accounts by identifying opportunities and delivering tailored solutionsBuild and execute strategic account plans for all key customersDrive sales growth through strong relationship management and consistent service deliveryIntroduce new product developments (NPD) and expand product ranges within accountsCollaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Commercial, Finance, Operations) to deliver a seamless, joined-up customer experienceProduce regular reports on pipeline, forecasts, revenue performance, risks, and opportunitiesSupport tender processes, contract renewals, and customer presentationsNegotiate and secure Annual Trading AgreementsChampion and demonstrate our core values: Teamwork, Partnership & FamilyWhat Success Looks Like (KPIs)Growth in revenue and product range across designated accountsStrong and active sales pipeline with high conversion ratesAbout YouStrong understanding of routes to market, including merchants, retail, and contract salesHighly skilled communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levelsCommercially astute with strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated and able to work autonomously while managing a national territoryHigh levels of energy, resilience, and drive to deliver resultsIT literateFull clean driving licenceWorking Pattern & TravelNational, customer-facing role (approx. 75% external / 25% internal)Regular travel required, including occasional overnight stays
