Seaking Electrical Ltd is a leading electrical engineering company specialising in marine and industrial electrical systems. From new-build vessels and refits to complex control and automation projects, we deliver high-quality electrical solutions across the UK maritime and industrial sectors.The Role: We are seeking an experienced Marine Electrician (or an Industrial Electrician with transferable skills) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of exciting projects, including new vessel builds, refits, and electrical system installations for major clients within the shipbuilding and industrial sectors.Key Responsibilities:Installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems onboard vessels and in industrial environmentsFault-finding, repairs, and maintenance on a range of electrical equipmentReading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematicsWorking with armoured, control, and data cabling systemsEnsuring all work complies with relevant standards, regulations, and safety proceduresCollaborating with project engineers and supervisors to meet project deadlinesEssential Skills & Experience:Time-served electrician with relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualificationExperience in marine, shipyard, or heavy industrial electrical workStrong understanding of electrical installation practices and testing proceduresAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood problem-solving skills and attention to detailDesirable:Experience with control systems, switchboards, or automationKnowledge of marine standards (Lloyds, DNV, etc.)Valid ECS or JIB cardCompEx certification (advantageous but not essential)Willingness to travel (advantageous but not essential).If youre an experienced Marine or Industrial Electrician looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and growing company, wed love to hear from you.
