PermanentWe are currently partnering with a well-established and highly respected main contractor to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor for projects based in Liverpool and the wider Merseyside region.This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking construction business delivering high-quality schemes across commercial, residential, education, and mixed-use sectors.The CompanyOur client is a financially stable regional contractor with a strong presence across the North West. With projects typically ranging from 5m to 40m, they have built a reputation for quality delivery, strong client relationships, and a collaborative working culture.Due to continued growth and a secured pipeline of work in Liverpool, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team with an ambitious Project Quantity Surveyor.The RoleAs Project Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for projects from procurement through to final account. Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring financial performance and contractual compliance.Key Responsibilities:Managing project costs from pre-construction through deliveryProcurement of subcontract packagesPreparing and managing subcontract documentationValuations, variations, and change controlCost reporting and forecastingManaging interim applications and final accountsSupporting risk and value management processesLiaising with site teams and clientsAbout YouWe are seeking a commercially astute, proactive professional with experience working for a main contractor.Essential Experience:37+ years experience in a Quantity Surveying roleExperience working on projects 5m+Strong understanding of JCT contractsAbility to manage subcontract accounts independentlyExcellent communication and negotiation skillsDesirable:Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial ManagementExperience across commercial or residential sectorsWorking towards or achieved MRICS (preferred but not essential)Whats On OfferCompetitive salary (DOE)Car allowance / company vehicleBonus schemePension contributionStrong pipeline of secured regional workClear progression to Senior Quantity SurveyorThis is an outstanding opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor looking to join a reputable contractor with long-term regional work and genuine career progression. xjdpvnf For a confidential discussion, please apply today or contact our construction recruitment team directly.
