Job Description Block ManagerLocation: BirkenheadSalary: Up to 35,000 plus company carWorking Pattern: Office basedA growing and well established property management business based in Birkenhead is looking to appoint a Block Manager to support and develop its residential portfolio.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building structure within a portfolio and wants the opportunity to help grow and shape a department over time.The RoleYou will be responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 40 residential blocks consisting of a mixture of freehold and Resident Management Company developments.The portfolio offers a varied mix of buildings and client relationships, providing the opportunity to gain broad experience across residential property management.Key responsibilities will include:Managing a portfolio of residential developmentsBuilding strong relationships with leaseholders, directors and residentsCoordinating maintenance works and contractor managementManaging service charge budgets and expenditureSupporting Section 20 consultation processes where requiredEnsuring health and safety compliance across developmentsConducting site visits and inspectionsAttending resident meetings and AGMs where necessaryThis role also offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of the department as the portfolio grows.About YouPrevious experience within Block Management or residential property managementGood understanding of service charge budgets and leasehold managementStrong organisational and communication skillsAbility to manage relationships with residents and directorsFull UK driving licenceProfessional qualifications such as TPI would be beneficial but are not essential.What Is On OfferSalary up to 35,000 depending on experienceCompany car providedOpportunity to help develop and grow a departmentExposure to a mixed and varied residential portfolioLong term career developmentIf you are looking for a Block Management role where you can make a real impact and grow alongside the business, we would be pleased to speak in confidence.JBRP1_UKTJ
