Our client is currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their EV team within the power utilities and energy sector. You will have the chance to grow and develop your career while contributing to essential services that support modern life.Key Responsibilities:Supporting a team of construction managers, designers, planners, schedulers, and electriciansManaging the planning and scheduling of surveys, design, and installation workContributing to compliance with commercial processes and proceduresBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholdersSupporting systems and processes to ensure a sustainable and commercially viable pipeline of workCollaborating with internal and subcontractor teams to meet customer needsUpholding regular communication to understand client needs and goalsAddressing any concerns or escalations promptly and effectivelyJob Requirements:Experience in mentoring and overseen a a commercial teamStrong background in commercial management and NEC contractsProven experience in quantity surveying, particularly within civils or utilities infrastructureStrong MS Office and Excel skillsFamiliarity with accounting systems such as OracleSubcontract management experienceUnderstanding of CDM Regulations and Health & Safety best practicesExcellent time management and decision-making skillsBenefits:Office based with flexibility to work from homeMonday to Friday 40hrs per weekPaying up to £70,000 per annumPension schemeCompany car and fuel card with a range of EV and hybrid vehiclesPrivate health care and health care cash plan for you and your familyDiscretionary bonus scheme25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysIf you have a strong background in civils or utilities infrastructure, with proven NEC experience, and are looking for an exciting opportunity within the energy sector, we would love to hear from you.
