Lead M&E Quantity SurveyorLocation: Billericay, Essex (HYBRID/FLEXI WORKING)Salary: £75,000 - £100,000 + PackageThe Company:Our client is an M&E Specialist Contractor working in the Super-Prime Residential sector for the rich & famous celebrities throughout the UK with a longstanding 20+ year history. With a turnover in excess of £10m, they take on a mix of single dwelling/mansion projects ranging in values typically between £1.5m - £2.5m, with highest values around the £6m MEP mark. They work with large names across the High-End Residential sector such as WaterLilly, WestGreen & more! The Role:This is a brilliant opportunity to join a close-knit & collaborative contractor who are looking for their next Lead QS to oversee their commercial functions within the business and ensure all commercial activities are monitored & controlled.Roles & Responsibilities:Prepare accurate, competitive, and detailed cost estimates for mechanical and electrical packages across high-end/luxury fit-out and refurbishment schemesDevelop and manage project budgets, ensuring effective cost control and alignment with financial forecastsLead the preparation of tender documentation, including BoQs, specifications, and contractual scopes for M&E worksProduce and maintain cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and valuations throughout the project lifecycleAssist in procurement of subcontractors, materials, and plant – negotiating terms to deliver best valueProvide commercial support to project teams, resolving contract variations and advising on risk managementAttend site meetings and liaise with delivery teams to ensure that commercial and financial targets are being metCandidate Profile:Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related disciplineMinimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a main contractor or M&E subcontractor environmentStrong understanding of M&E systems and terminology, particularly in the context of complex refurbishment and fit-out projectsProficient in preparing cost plans, procurement strategies, and commercial reportingExcellent negotiation and communication skills; confident dealing with both internal and external stakeholdersDriven, commercially astute, and eager to grow within a business that champions autonomy and internal progressive routesWhy Join?£75,000 - £100,000+ PackageOpportunity to be part of a high-growth phase within a well-established businessDirect access to senior leadership with a platform to influence Exciting portfolio of landmark fit-out and refurbishment projects in Central LondonSupportive and collaborative team culture focused on high standards and commercial success
