This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day running of a busy branch and is ready to take the next step in their career.Working closely with the Branch Manager, you’ll support all areas of the operation — from customer service and sales to stock control and team coordination. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and is comfortable stepping in wherever needed.Key Responsibilities:Assist with daily branch operations and team supportHelp manage stock, transport, and purchasing processesEngage with customers and support the sales team to drive growthEnsure health 'safety and company standards are maintainedSupport team development and performance, including HR tasksCarry out admin duties such as cash reconciliation and bankingContribute to high standards across the branch in service and presentationAt Lords, you’ll be part of a supportive, hard-working team where no two days are the same. This is a varied and rewarding role with real opportunities for progression.Competitive Salary OfferedHours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri, 7am-12pm alternate SaturdaysHoliday: 21 days per year plus Bank HolidaysBenefits: Discretionary bonus schemeRequirementsAt least 2 years’ experience in a Builder’s MerchantA practical, team-oriented approach with a strong work ethicConfidence in taking initiative and supporting leadership when requiredStrong communication and organisational skillsA focus on delivering great customer service and maintaining a positive team environmentEligible to work in the UK
