We are currently looking for a Supplier Quality Technician Cost Recovery. This individual will find, investigate, report, and contain supplier quality defects, minimising the impact and cost of poor quality on production, service teams, and customers.The Role:Carry out material testing as identified in relevant WMP's.Process non-conforming material through the Reject system.Conduct quality investigations as requested by Management.Provide information to supplier/sub-contractor, buyer, QA department regarding nonconforming materials / products.Carry out, supervise and/or coordinate activities required to contain and mitigate quality defects including purging, sorting and rework of stock.Ensure all rectification/rework of materials is carried out and meets agreed standards.Identify and highlight quality risks in the spares and service logistics chain.Follow all relevant processes and procedures within the Quality Management System.Communicate with personnel at all levels, internally and externally in relation to Quality matters.Preparation of Supplier Recovery Cost data.Preparation of cost recovery case files and presentation materialsAssist with root cause investigations.Coordinate, assist and support suppliers' involved in campaigns, field actions and warranty investigationsThe Requirements:Minimum of 5 GCSEs grade C and above including MathsOr An apprenticeship qualification.Minimum 1 year of experience in quality control, supplier quality, or manufacturing environment.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.Working knowledge of supplier quality procedures and practicesUse of relevant computer systems (MS Office, SharePoint)Advanced data analysis and presentation skills (Excel) The Benefits:4% discretionary bonusLife InsuranceMedicash schemeFree car parkingCareer progressionProfessional developmentFlexitime#wbstaffJBRP1_UKTJ
