Due to internal promotion, this role offers stability, progression, and the chance to work with leading commercial vehicle brands.You will be the main point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive an excellent level of service from initial booking to vehicle handover. You'll play a key role in workshop scheduling, customer updates, authorisations, and ensuring all service processes run smoothly.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary contact for customer queries, both in person and by phoneFollow the full Service Core Process to ensure accurate job preparationProvide daily updates on vehicle progress and manage VOR informationClarify repair types (retail/fleet/warranty) and obtain authorisationsUpsell additional work and maximise workshop utilisationManage WIP, booking follow-ups, and no show customersRaise job cards, cost completed work, and create invoicesMaintain accurate service records and vehicle historiesOrder required parts and arrange sub-contract work when neededMaintain a professional and tidy reception environmentCarry out post-service follow-up calls and ensure customer satisfactionWork collaboratively with workshop staff and other departmentsComply with all health & safety and company policiesIdeal Candidate ProfileStrong customer service and communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and organisational abilityConfident in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitaskProblem-solver with a proactive approachGood administrative and IT skillsTechnical/mechanical understanding (advantageous)Automotive, HGV or LCV experience preferredAble to work independently and as part of a teamWhat Youll ReceiveOTE up to 36,000Annual bonus up to 4,00030 days holiday including Bank HolidaysAdditional holiday for long service (3/5/7/10 years)Holiday purchase scheme (buy up to 3 extra days)Multi-manufacturer training and career developmentEmployer pension schemeFree annual Class IV MOTMental Health First Aiders1,500 referral bonus for introducing techniciansEnhanced paternity pay (full pay for 2 weeks)Personal accident schemeCompany uniformCycle to work schemeSupportive family-run working environmentJBRP1_UKTJ
