HGV Service Advisor Salary: 28,00032,000 per annum Bonus: Up to 4,000 per year (OTE 36,000) Hours: 42.5 hours per week, MonFri rotating shifts Shifts: 7am4pm / 8am5pm / 9am6pm Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (8am12pm), paid at 1.5 Location: Heathrow Area Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Opportunity A long-standing, family-run commercial vehicle dealership group is seeking a proactive and customer-focused HGV Service Advisor to join its busy and growing team. Due to internal promotion, this role offers stability, progression, and the chance to work with leading commercial vehicle brands. You will be the main point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive an excellent level of service from initial booking to vehicle handover. You'll play a key role in workshop scheduling, customer updates, authorisations, and ensuring all service processes run smoothly. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary contact for customer queries, both in person and by phone Follow the full Service Core Process to ensure accurate job preparation Provide daily updates on vehicle progress and manage VOR information Clarify repair types (retail/fleet/warranty) and obtain authorisations Upsell additional work and maximise workshop utilisation Manage WIP, booking follow-ups, and no show customers Raise job cards, cost completed work, and create invoices Maintain accurate service records and vehicle histories Order required parts and arrange sub-contract work when needed Maintain a professional and tidy reception environment Carry out post-service follow-up calls and ensure customer satisfaction Work collaboratively with workshop staff and other departments Comply with all health & safety and company policies Ideal Candidate Profile Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability Confident in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask Problem-solver with a proactive approach Good administrative and IT skills Technical/mechanical understanding (advantageous) Automotive, HGV or LCV experience preferred Able to work independently and as part of a team What Youll Receive OTE up to 36,000 Annual bonus up to 4,000 30 days holiday including Bank Holidays Additional holiday for long service (3/5/7/10 years) Holiday purchase scheme (buy up to 3 extra days) Multi-manufacturer training and career development Employer pension scheme Free annual Class IV MOT Mental Health First Aiders 1,500 referral bonus for introducing technicians Enhanced paternity pay (full pay for 2 weeks) Personal accident scheme Company uniform Cycle to work scheme Supportive family-run working environment TPBN1_UKTJ
