Job Description DescriptionFixed term opportunity! We are seeking a Class 2 Driver to join our distribution network In Wimborne, Dorset. As a dedicated member of the Distribution team, youll play a crucial role in ensuring customer orders are completed accurately and timely while maintaining St Austell Brewery's fantastic reputation across the South West.You will be responsible for:Preparing the lorry for delivery and accurately verifying the contents of inventory loads against load sheet documents.Reviewing all delivery instructions to support service standardsCompleting all documentation promptly and accurately as requiredEnsuring that the vehicle is loaded safely according to the load documentDelivering stock in a safe and efficient mannerEnsuring that all legislation relating to driving is complied with, including a tacho cardEnsuring the vehicle is safe and legal for the road by undertaking and logging routine checks of lights, tyres, oil, water, etc.About you:Appropriate level of driving licence for the vehicle, and a drivers tachograph card.Relevant driving experience.Good geographical knowledge.Experience working in a customer-focused environment with a commercial outlook.You will be delivering kegs with an average weight of 63kg meaning manual handling experience is preferable as the movement of heavy goods must be carried out in a safe and appropriate manner.What we offer in return:25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) - pro rata depending on length of employment30% discount on food & drink and 50% discount on accommodation.Fantastic training & career development opportunities.Discounted membership with local businesses.Additional Info:This is a fixed term role from April 7th - September 26th 2026.St AustellBreweryis an Equal Opportunities employer, and we positively encourage applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates, regardless of age, sex, race, disability, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital/civil partnership status, or pregnancy and maternity.
