Key Responsibilities Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently Picking and preparing customer orders for collection or delivery Operating forklift trucks (Counterbalance and/or Reach training can be provided) Serving trade customers in the yard with building materials Checking deliveries and booking goods-in General yard housekeeping, ensuring a clean and safe working environment Assisting with stock counts and reporting shortages or damage Supporting drivers and warehouse staff as required Requirements Experience working in a Builders Merchants or construction yard environment essential. Forklift licence (Counterbalance) is preferred, although training can be provided Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials Basic knowledge of common building materials Confident in dealing with trade customers and working in a team Reliable, punctual, and hard-working with good communication skills Able to follow health & safety procedures and contribute to a safe workplace High integrity and trustworthy individual What We Offer Competitive salary Pension scheme Training and forklift certification if required Staff discount on building materials Supportive team environment and opportunities to grow within the company TPBN1_UKTJ
