SEND Teaching Assistant

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Bexley Employer: Complete Classroom Services Job Type: Full Time, Long Term The Role We are looking to trial experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work alongside class teachers and the SENCO, supporting children in KS2 with special educational needs. This is a chance to join a supportive school environment, make a real difference and potentially move into longer-term work. Key Responsibilities Work with children in KS2, especially those with additional needs (SEND). Support speech and language development and follow guidance from Speech & Language Therapy. Provide tailored support for children with Autism and/or Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). Assist in implementing interventions and differentiated learning plans under teacher/SENCO direction. (Desirable) Use knowledge from occupational health training to support well-being and any required health interventions or adjustments. Essential Criteria Candidates must have: Proven experience working with SEND children in schools. Proven experience working with KS2 pupils. Demonstrable experience of speech and language support. Experience working with children with autism and/or ADD. Desirable Occupational health training experience.
