Do you enjoy entertaining others or designing activities?Interested in this role You can find all the relevant information in the description below.You may be new to care or looking for a new challenge within one of our homes.Come and join the Agincare family as anActivities CoordinatorWhere you'll be workingClick here to view the care home Quality Commission rating - an Agincare employee you'll enjoy12.25 per hourRefer a friend scheme up to1000Outstanding career developmentFully funded training up to QCF level 5Blue Light care discount packageCompany pension schemeWhat is required from you?A minimum of 12 months on your right to work30 hours per week over weekdays and weekendsA day in the life of an Activities CoordinatorCompanionship- providing support, companionship, communication and engagement with residentsCreating activities- you will be in charge of designing an engaging activities plan both internally and with external resources.Event planning our Activities Coordinators are involved with planning events such as summer BBQs or Christmas parties for our residents.Resident interaction you will always be in conversation with residents to see which activities they want to do and bringing them to fruition.External communications as an Activities Coordinator you will be speaking with external entertainers or businesses to organise visits from entertainers or arranging for visits to businesses for the residents.Mobility - supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility through activities such as Zumba or ballroom or even things like balloon tennis.Social activities- trips out, social engagements and activities within the home for all abilities.Agincare is proudly celebrating 40years of caring for communities.
