Transport Planner

Resource and Logistics Planner - Beverley - 30,000 - 32,500 Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering with a market leading construction business who are looking to recruit a Resource and Logistics Planner to join their team. The Resource and Logistics Planner is a key role that ensures projects are resourced efficiently, costed accurately and delivered on time. It offers a mix of planning, coordination and communication, along with the chance to build strong relationships across internal teams and suppliers. Benefits: Lucrative Bonus Scheme up to 12.5% 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Pension with 10% employer / 4% employee after probation Death in service (3 times annual salary) Annual salary reviews Employee assistance programme and company events The Role: Produce weekly operations programmes to keep the wider team updated on project handovers and returns Create resource schedules and source labour and plant to meet project plans and forecast activity Negotiate labour and plant rates in line with project budgets Raise purchase orders for labour and management Track plant usage, costs and off hire timings to support accurate cost control Update divisional and site programmes each week to support revenue forecasting and fleet availability Check and verify project paperwork, cost codes and compliance documentation Provide reports and progress updates to the Head of Operations Support tender and bid activity when needed Hours: Full time Monday to Friday The Person Confidence working with schedules, data and operational information Strong communication and coordination skills The ability to prioritise workload and work accurately to deadlines Planning software experience (for example MS Project) About Elevation: Elevation Recruitment Group is a specialist recruitment consultancy that helps people build long-term, successful careers.
