As we continue to grow and innovate, we are seeking a Manufacturing and Production Engineer to join our talented engineering team.This is a fantastic opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to develop their skills in a supportive, collaborative, and technically stimulating environment.The RoleAs a Manufacturing and Production Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for all production issues, responsible for making sure all documentation is up to date and the processes followed are efficient and cost effective. You will support all releases of new and changed products into the production line ensuring all documentation, test jigs, BOM and processes are defined and followed. You will give crucial input in product development activities, collaborating closely with suppliers and influencing the manufacturing process. Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain build procedures for all aspects of productionProcess iCIR and CIR reports with other departments such as QA, stores and productionAssist shop floor during release of new and changed productProvide constructive feedback to Engineering on issues found on the shop floor with possible solutionsDevelop counter measures and solutions for issues and see them through into production RequirementsEssential:Degree or HND in Electrical or mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or other relevant disciplineConsiderable demonstrable experience in electro/mechanical systemsProficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel etc)Understanding of Product life cycle, New Product Introduction (NPI), and Stage-gate processDesirable:Practical understanding of BOM structures and ERP softwareISO 9001 and 14001 understandingExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalExperience in 3D CAD software (ideally SolidWorks)What We OfferA structured development plan with mentorship from senior engineersExposure to exciting real-world projects from day oneFlexible working hours and a friendly team environmentCompetitive salary with pension scheme and other benefitsOpportunities for training and career progressionHow to ApplyTo apply, please send your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your interest in the Manufacturing and Production Engineer role in Berkhamsted, United Kingdom
