HGV Class 1 Driver Job location: Leicester, LE4 Pay rate: 15.93 per hour, weekly pay in arrears, every Friday Schedule: Monday to Friday | 6am-2.45pm Schedule: Monday to Friday |5am -2.45| 45 minute unpaid break Smart Environmental Support Services is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to work with our client, a leading waste and recycling specialist in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established team and gain long-term, ongoing work. Permanent positions may become available after a qualifying period HGV Class 1 Driver- Responsibilities Collect waste from various customer sites in London and transport it back to base. Operate vehicles with walking floors . Ensure vehicle upkeep, including cleaning trailers before each pickup. HGV Class 1 Driver - Person Specification UK HGV Class 1 driving license (minimum 6 months) Digital tachograph card & CPC card Minimum 2 years experience as an HGV driver Ability to provide a professional waste management service to trade customers Excellent, professional work ethic Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage Experience with walking floors and in the waste industry is preferable but not essential Why Join us?
