Meanwhile in Ireland is one of Ireland's biggest cultural and satirical news websites.The RoleWe are on the hunt for a Part-Time Freelance Videographer (at least 21 hours per week) to join our team in Belfast. The contract will be initially four months with the view of a more permanent role.Working as part of Emerald Green Media's team, your role will be to help create inspiring travel and culture videos that will engage our followers and share our passion for travel.This is a hands‐on role, and you must be willing to travel to exciting destinations around Ireland. Given that this is a highly autonomous and collaborative role, we will only be considering experienced candidates who are highly motivated, reliable and confident in their skills.ResponsibilitiesCreating exciting travel and culture videos to be shown to large audiencesTravelling to different destinations around IrelandEditing your own videos and those of the teamWorking from a storyboard and briefProactively improving the direction of the content strategyCollaborating with the team to generate unique ideas with provided materialCommuting regularly to BelfastOwning necessary equipment (computer, camera, drone, mics and extra batteries)Graduate or student of Film Studies or related disciplines (or at least 1 year of experience)Highly skilled in editing software such as Final Cut Pro X or Adobe Premiere ProPassionate and motivatedStrong portfolio of previous workDriving licenceHigh attention to detailGood sense of humourSelf‐starter, capable of working independently, driven to succeedWillingness to work long hours as needed, often under pressureAbility to work efficiently under time pressure in a fast‐paced, deadline‐oriented environmentLoves new technology and trends, constantly seeking improvement of creative skillsMotion graphics experience is favoured but not mandatoryAccess to office in Belfast City Centre when not shooting videosOpportunity to travel around IrelandFree food & coffee on shootsThis role will be a four‐month contract with the view of an extended period.
