HGV 1 Driver

We're working with a leading local logistics provider who, due to continued business growth, is looking to add a skilled and dependable Class 1 HGV Driver to their team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering stable weekday work with excellent rates of pay and a supportive working environment. What You'll Be Doing: Driving Class 1 HGVs to deliver goods across Northern Ireland Handling container and curtainsiders trailer loads Ensuring goods are safely secured and delivered on time Performing daily vehicle checks (pre-trip and post-trip) Completing delivery paperwork and logging journeys Communicating with the Transport Team about routes, delays, and updates Adhering to all safety standards and road regulations Managing routes efficiently for timely and fuel-conscious deliveries Criteria Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence Full Driver CPC & clean driving licence 2+ years of experience driving HGVs - particularly containers & curtainsiders Excellent understanding of road safety regulations Strong time management , communication, and organisational skills Able to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work overtime when required Benefits Competitive hourly pay from 16.00 Set hours - Monday to Friday (7am-5pm) No weekend work - enjoy your time off!
