Freight Forwarder

Brook Street Recruitment are working on behalf of our Belfast client who are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Sea Freight Operative to join a dynamic and growing freight forwarding and customs clearance division focusing on import and export operations Responsibilities include: Arrange transportation by air, sea and road with freight carriers and agents Track shipments and ensure timely delivery Handle bookings with airline, shipping lines and haulage companies Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing the shipment process from booking to final delivery Prepare and verify shipping documents Collaborate with internal and external colleagues to promote smooth operations Ensure compliance with import/export laws and customs regulations Maintain effective communication with clients for exceptional customer service The ideal Candidate: Excellent verbal, written and communication skills Previous experience in a sea freight role is preferred High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong IT knowledge with the ability to navigate various operating systems Please send CV via the apply link Brook Street NMR is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
