The RoleWe are hiring an Information Security Manager to work in our growing Information Security team. This is an exciting and diverse opportunity, as a result of immense growth to work within an established Information Security team. You will perform information control reviews, to ensure an adequate level of assurance required for the following: operating procedures, system security, configuration controls, communication controls, business continuity (including backup and disaster recovery), secure development standards, as well as ongoing system maintenance. You will also be responsible for evaluating and reporting on the security and effectiveness of these controls and ensuring we maintain company and customer standards when it comes to Information Security. To do well in this role you should have a minimum of 4 years work experience in the information security field. Key to success is your ability to Support the development and then manage our Technology Information security controls and governance within Alexander Mann Solutions. Once in place, drive industry best practice whilst developing and maturing our security controls and environments. Deliver continuous development of a long-term strategy, ensuring the Information Security Technology Operations function and business is in a strong position. Drive and enforce changes on new standards, policies and compliance controls aligned to ISO27001 and cloud principles. Key AccountabilitiesWhat you'll be doing: Supporting strategic security and governance controls within with Organisation Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives within the Global Information Security Risk programs Supporting in RFI, RFP responses & respond to Client security questionnaires and client audits Review, Analyse and conclude on supplier risk - including reporting and supplier remediation plans Knowledge, Support and contribute to management of Cloud security controls Monitors and reviews regulatory updates and issues relative to pertinent security regulatory requirements Provide a single, authoritative, consistent and repeatable set of cyber risk management processes implemented and assured across the organisation Drive development and completion of the cyber risk management policies and standards to properly implement cyber controls throughout system development and ensure clear communication. Ensure roles, responsibilities and accountabilities for cyber risk are clearly and consistently defined, assigned and implemented. Drive new security controls, standards and best practices. Develop and produce monthly governance reports in conjunction with client contractual requirements Manage Incident handling of any Technology security related issues Support and contribute to the maintenance of company compliance standards Knowledge of security systems or platforms (e.g. SIEM, vulnerability scanning tools, CSPM etc.), and Microsoft products Promote and develop awareness for different security risks and best practices across the company Support Technology PMs in Client Implementations on InfoSec aspects where required Knowledge & Awareness of security standards and certifications Skills & ExperienceYou'll need to demonstrate: A working knowledge of relevant cyber security standards, frameworks and risk assessment methodologies Proven experience of successfully delivering technology risk services Desirable - bachelor's degree, Information systems, Computer Science, Information security or similar Professional security management certification, such as CISSP or CISM or other relevant industry qualification such as ISACA Demonstrable experience of Information Security Compliance programs and industry leading practices/ frameworks including ISO 27001, CIS controls GDPR and cloud principles IT security or information security experience with a proven ability to engage with Senior Management, clients and regulators Knowledge of technical infrastructure, networks, databases, Cloud services and systems in relation to Security and Risk OtherWhy AMS?At AMS, we recognise the value of different perspectives and experiences in prompting innovation, sparking creativity, and solving problems.
