Job Description Role SummaryBuilt For Growth Digital is looking for a Junior eCommerce Consultant with a passion for digital retail and a drive to master the technical and strategic side of the industry.Our clients are ambitious retailers leveraging our expertise to scale. In this role, you wont just be suggesting ideas; youll be the hands-on lead for Shopify builds, site updates, and project lifecycles, ensuring our clients storefronts are high-performing and technically sound.Key DutiesShopify Development & Store ManagementStore Builds & Updates: Executing Shopify store setups, theme configurations, and routine site updates to improve UX and functionality.App Integration: Installing and configuring Shopify apps to extend store capabilities (loyalty programs, reviews, subscriptions, etc.).Technical Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving front-end issues or app conflicts within the Shopify environment.Project Management & CoordinationEnd-to-End Delivery: Managing the project lifecycle for site migrations, new feature rollouts, and seasonal campaignsensuring delivery on time and to spec.Stakeholder Liaison: Acting as the bridge between clients, internal designers, and developers to ensure requirements are clearly translated into action.Task Tracking: Using project management tools to maintain clear workflows, documentation, and progress reports.eCommerce Trading & OperationsTactical Execution: Actioning email marketing, promotions, SEO updates, and complex product data migrations.Performance Analysis: Analysing data to interpret site performance, identifying friction points in the conversion funnel.Asset Coordination: Working with designers to ensure creative assets meet technical requirements for Shopify themes and marketing channels.Essential CriteriaRelevant University Degree (2:1) or equivalent industry experience.Hands-on Shopify Experience: Proven ability to navigate the Shopify admin, manage products, and modify theme settings.Project Management Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams without losing sight of the details.Communication: Excellent spoken and written English; comfortable presenting plans to clients.Technical Literacy: Comfortable with data, spreadsheets, and basic logic-based problem-solving.Drive: Demonstrable proof of enthusiasm, initiative, and a "self-starter" mindset.Desirable CriteriaShopify Customisation: Knowledge of Liquid, HTML, and CSS for deeper theme customisation.Automation & APIs: Familiarity with Shopify APIs and integrationsMarketing Tech Stack: Awareness of Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and Meta Business Suite.PM Tools: Experience with tools like Asana, NotionWhats on offerMentorship: Direct training from senior eCommerce consultants and technical leads.Progression: A clear path from Junior to Mid/Senior Consultant as you master Shopify architecture and project leadership.Environment: An agile, innovative workspace in a vibrant tech hub.Perks: Competitive salary, pension, and comprehensive private health, dental, and optical care.Balance: Attractive annual leave package and a friendly, collaborative culture.
