UK Property Claims DirectorWe are seeking an experienced UK Property Claims Director to lead a growing Property Claims function within a fast‐growing insurtech and claims services business, transforming property claims through technology and modern operating models.This role provides strategic and operational leadership across claims performance, quality, governance, and people development. You will be accountable for delivering high‐quality outcomes, maintaining strong client and carrier relationships, and driving cost efficiency, leakage reduction, and continuous improvement. This is a senior leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast‐paced, evolving environment and enjoys building scalable, best‐in‐class claims operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership & QualityOversee day‐to‐day performance of the Property Claims function, ensuring quality, compliance, and effective reserving practicesDrive cost control, leakage reduction, subrogation, and continuous improvement initiativesConduct audits, escalated reviews, and KPI performance analysis, implementing corrective actionsPeople & Department LeadershipLead, coach, and develop managers and teams, embedding a strong performance and feedback cultureIdentify training needs, support succession planning, and deliver performance management and development plansEnsure clear communication and effective resource planningHiring & Workforce ManagementOversee recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and evolving role designMonitor capacity, productivity, and workload distribution, providing hands‐on support where requiredEscalations & Stakeholder ManagementAct as the senior escalation point for complex, high‐value claims and complaintsPartner with clients, carriers, MGAs, and vendors, attending meetings and driving resolutionAnalyse trends and address process or performance gapsSkills & ExperienceSenior leadership experience within UK Property claims, ideally in a TPA or insurerStrong technical expertise in claims handling, reserving, cost control, and subrogationProven ability to build and lead high‐performing teams in evolving environmentsExcellent stakeholder, client, and communication skillsTrack record of leading change and quality improvement initiativesRequirementsMinimum Dip CII (or working towards)10+ years' claims management experience, with a strong Property focus8+ years of people management experience, ideally in a remote or distributed environmentConfident in using and evolving claims technology and processesHigh standards of integrity, attention to detail, and accountabilityA generous benefits package and a competitive salary are offered for the role.This is a remote role, with occasional company or client visits required
