Reed Hospitality are currently seeking experienced Chefs to join our team. All days available Mon to Sunday.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare meals in line with residents’ dietary needs, including IDDSI levels (Many of whom require texture-modified diets)
Plan menus that are nutritious, varied, and visually appealing
Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards
Collaborate with care staff to meet individual dietary requirements
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and manage stock levels
Essential Requirements:
Experience as a chef or cook (care home or healthcare setting preferred)
Understanding of or willingness to train in the IDDSI Framework (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative)
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or higher)
Compassionate and team-oriented approach
Experience preparing texture-modified meals for individuals with dysphagia
