Compliance IT Product Owner

Overview We are seeking a Product Owner to lead the delivery of Communication Surveillance and Mobile Capture technology solutions within a Compliance Technology function. This role plays a key part in ensuring systems meet regulatory expectations for Record Keeping and Market Abuse prevention. Key Responsibilities Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and KPIs for surveillance platforms (e.g., TeleMessage, Global Relay). Define and prioritise deliverables in alignment with business and stakeholder needs. Lead Agile delivery , including backlog management and sprint planning. Design and maintain Communication Surveillance controls . Oversee routine testing to ensure accurate communication capture. Govern and monitor business communication channels. Act as the day-to-day liaison between Compliance and Technology teams, managing issues, risks, and vendor support. Essential Experience & Skills Strong leadership and delivery focus in dynamic environments. Expertise in Data Governance and Agile delivery . Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with tools such as Teams Chat, WhatsApp for Business, Bloomberg, BT Turrets, Cloud 9, Mobile Voice . Solid understanding of regulatory requirements for communication surveillance. Desirable Experience with AI/ML in compliance contexts. Background in financial services project management .
