Job Description LEAD PRODUCT DESIGNER | UP TO 90K + EMI SHARES | HYBRID (BELFAST)Few&Far are working with a fast-growing Series A AI-Scaleup Consultancy who are looking to hire a Permanent Lead Product Designer. Hybrid Belfast (in-office x2 a week) Salary up to 90K Base + EMI SharesThis is a player-coach position, building an AI-powered platform (think product builder + orchestration + natural language interfaces) used by companies in complex, highly regulated industries (such as Defence, Government, Financial Services, Healthcare).The role sits between leadership and execution - youd be:Leading and mentoring a small design team (line managing 2-3, with scope to grow the team as they scale)Owning end-to-end design across their flagship AI product, in addition to oversight of other products in their portfolioOwning and evolving their design system and overall craft/qualityStaying hands-on across UX, UI, and interaction designIts a high-impact role with:Real influence over product and design directionStrong growth trajectory (Series B on the horizon)A genuinely good work-life balance (early Friday finishes + reduced summer hours - 4-day working week in summer months)Essential Requirements: Strong full-stack design capability (end to end) User research/discovery, validation of hypotheses, excellent craft, and experience shipping real products - not just polished UI, but clear thinking from problem outcomeExperienced owning a design system/massively contributing to design systemsPortfolio requirements: demonstration of end-to-end design capability, from understanding a problem through to high-quality outcomes. Must have ability to communicate your journey/design processMUST be Eligible for SC ClearanceDesirable:AI-fluency, experience working on AI-enabled or AI-native productsCandidates must have full rights to work in the UK without sponsorship, and must have lived in the UK for at least 5 consecutive years, to be eligible for SC Clearance.
