Our client is a leading Lancashire-based building contractor, delivering high-quality construction projects across the health, education, and commercial sectors. They operate on local authority frameworks and for private clients, with projects ranging in value up to £20 million. Their reputation is built on delivering quality, safety, and reliability across a broad range of challenging sites.The RoleThey are looking for an experienced and driven Site Manager / Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of key projects across the region. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all site activities and subcontractor managementEnsure compliance with health 'safety legislation, RAMS, and site protocolsManage build programmes and coordinate with project teams to meet deadlinesLiaise with clients, consultants, local authorities, and internal stakeholdersMonitor quality control and ensure works are carried out to specificationManage site logistics, materials, plant, and labourMaintain accurate site records and prepare reports as requiredRequirementsProven experience managing construction projects, ideally up to £20 million in valueBackground in public sector (education, healthcare) and commercial projectsSMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold Card preferred), and First Aid at Work certificationsStrong leadership, organisational, and communication skillsWorking knowledge of building regulations, CDM 2015, and site health 'safetyFull UK driving licenceDesirableNVQ Level 6 or equivalent in Construction Site ManagementExperience with public sector frameworks and JCT contract administrationOn OfferCompetitive salary (negotiable based on experience)Company vehicle or car allowanceLong-term pipeline of secured workSupportive and professional team cultureCareer development and training opportunities
