Type: Full-timeSalary: Competitive base that grows on experience + uncapped commission potentialAdditional benefits: Remote-first, upskilling budget, travel to meet the team`The role:We’re looking for a Technical Apprenticeship Coach who can guide learners through our Machine Learning and GenAI apprenticeship programmes, combining coaching skill and technical literacy. You’ll be the bridge between learners, instructors, and employers, ensuring every learner stays on track, builds confidence, and succeeds.You will:Ensure learners meet programme milestones, complete assessments on time, and demonstrate measurable skill growth.Build strong, trust-based relationships with learners through motivational coaching and accountability.Design and maintain individual learning plans aligned with learner goals and curriculum requirements.Collaborate closely with instructors, ML Engineers, and employers to ensure learning translates into workplace impact through projects.Conduct effective 1:1 and group sessions that foster professional growth and technical understanding.Track learner progress using analytics tools, flag risks early, and proactively support completion.Contribute to continuous improvement across the learner experience and the wider coaching team.What you will bring:Proven experience coaching or mentoring in a technical or apprenticeship context.Strong understanding of the UK Apprenticeship landscape, ideally having guided learners through to EPA readiness and portfolio completion.Baseline technical literacy: you can follow AI/ML concepts, version control, and data fundamentals, and know when to escalate to SMEs.High data literacy: you’re comfortable using dashboards and analytics tools to monitor learner progress.Excellent communication: empathic, motivating, and clear, with an ability to build trust and accountability.Familiarity with apprenticeship quality frameworks and compliance expectations.Problem-solving mindset: you anticipate barriers and find creative solutions fast.Bonus points for:Delivered coaching within AI, tech, or STEM apprenticeship environments.Experience training or mentoring other coaches (“coach-of-coaches”).Success looks like:Learners complete their programmes, achieve high-quality outcomes, and transition confidently into applied AI roles.Consistently strong engagement and satisfaction scores across your learner group.Coaching processes are smooth, data-informed, and scalable.About AiCoreAiCore helps engineers and organisations master the tools shaping the future.
