Procurement Manager Remote Oil&Gas / Nuclear / Chemical manufacturing/ Refinery Petrochemical About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to play a key role in developing and executing sourcing strategies, with responsibility for maximizing supplier productivity across both hard and soft savings.You will be responsible for managing all aspects of key supplier relationships, ensuring that goods and services are delivered to the required standards of quality, price, and delivery — and in the safest possible manner. Logistics and TransportationStaying informed of market trends, supplier innovation, product developments, and pricing will be key. You’ll use this knowledge to identify new products and suppliers where appropriate and help bring external innovation into the organization.This role also provides the opportunity to collaborate with regional and global teams, sharing best practices and leveraging the benefits of working within a large, international organization.The position offers a clear development pathway toward more senior roles within the strategic sourcing and procurement structure.What We’re Looking ForMinimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior procurement role within a large national or international companyDegree-level education (MSc/MBA preferred) and/or a professional procurement qualification (e.g. CIPS)Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing and procurementStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and ability to build strong internal and external relationshipsSelf-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a high-pressure, dynamic environmentCommercially astute with an understanding of procurement’s impact on business performanceProven project management experience and ability to lead continuous improvement initiativesSkilled in navigating complex, evolving organizations and managing ambiguityUnderstanding of contract management, including drafting and negotiation
