Press Brake Setter / Operator A well-established sheet metal manufacturing company based in the Bedford area is looking to recruit an experienced Press Brake Setter / Operator to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator to work in a stable, growing business with consistent day shifts and competitive hourly rates. The Role As a Press Brake Setter / Operator, you will be responsible for: Setting and operating press brake machines to produce precision sheet metal components Working from engineering drawings and job sheets Producing parts to tight tolerances and quality standards Carrying out basic inspections and adjustments as required Working with a range of materials including: o Mild Steel o Stainless Steel o Aluminium o Zintec Typical material thickness 1mm 5mm About the successful Press Brake Setter / Operator: To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter / Operator Strong background in sheet metal fabrication Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship A reliable and team-focused attitude Pay & Hours 15.50 16.50 per hour (depending on experience) Monday to Friday Days (08:30 17:00) Overtime may be available Whats on Offer Permanent position with long-term stability Competitive hourly rate Day shifts only no nights or weekends Friendly, supportive working environment Opportunity to work with a varied product range TPBN1_UKTJ
