Job Title: Home Manager Location: Bedford Salary: 60,000 per annum Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Home Manager to lead a small, well-established nursing home in Bedford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and hands-on professional to manage a close-knit team and ensure exceptional standards of care and compliance throughout the home. Key Responsibilities: Provide strong, visible leadership and management to maintain the highest standards of person-centred care. Oversee all aspects of the homes daily operations, including staffing, budgets, clinical governance, and regulatory compliance. Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external professionals. Promote a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement. Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and company policies. Requirements: Proven experience as a Home Manager or Deputy Manager in a care home setting. Strong understanding of CQC standards and best practice in elderly care. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Nurse qualification (RGN/RMN/RNLD) is highly desirable but not essential. A genuine passion for delivering outstanding, person-centred care in a small home environment.
