Job Description Plant Maintenance TechnicianUp to 30,000 + Overtime + Bonus + Excellent BenefitsBedfordMC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Plant Maintenance Technician to join a leading anaerobic digestion company at their facility in Bedfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's largest independent AD operators, supporting the safe, compliant, & efficient running of a key site.As the Plant Maintenance Technician, you will:Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) & reactive maintenance across mechanical equipment (pumps, motors, gearboxes, etc)Manage & prioritise reactive maintenance & repairs to reduce operational disruptionsSupport safety, compliance, & engineering best practice across the siteMonitor site remotely & be part of the weekend on-call rota for out-of-hours supportCarrying out maintenance on Mechanical plant on a food waste Anaerobic Digestion siteOther duties as requiredTo be considered for this role you should have:A qualification in mechanical engineering (or strong industry experience)Proven background in a process industry (e.g. AD, energy, utilities, waste, manufacturing)Knowledge of PLC controls or electronics is advantageousExperience with maintenance systemsFamiliarity with health 'safety systems & environmental compliance is desirableGood people and teamworking skillsFull UK driving licence & the ability to gain a telehandler licenceWhat's On Offer:Competitive salary of up to 30,000 (depending on experience)Bonus scheme & overtime opportunitiesOn call allowance (1 in 4 rota)25 days' holiday + bank holidaysPension and life assuranceOpportunities for training & professional developmentTo Apply:If you are interested in this role, please apply via the link below or contact Matt George at MC Technical Recruitment on 01489 533 030 / for a confidential chat.JBRP1_UKTJ
