Credit Controller Bedford (Office Based) | Up to 28,000 + Bonus Are you an organised, proactive Credit Controller who enjoys building strong relationships and keeping cashflow on track? Were supporting a growing business in Bedford thats strengthening its Finance team and looking for a confident, motivated Credit Controller to join them. The Role As a key part of the Credit Control team, you will be responsible for: Cash Collection & Ledger Management Proactively chasing outstanding debt and ensuring payments are collected to terms Allocating cash accurately against invoices Managing Sage Pay card payments Supporting order authorisation and resolving account queries Reporting & Communication Producing and distributing aged debt reports Highlighting potential debt issues early and working with sales teams to resolve them Providing clear, professional communication to internal and external stakeholders Improvement & Team Contribution Helping improve processes as the business grows Challenging existing ways of working and suggesting smarter, more efficient solutions Supporting a positive, collaborative customer service-focused culture Assisting with ad-hoc finance tasks as needed What Were Looking For Previous Credit Control experience (essential) Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Confident communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Good exposure to accounting processes (qualification not required) Reliable, methodical, and able to build rapport with customers and colleagues Whats on Offer Salary up to 28,000 Performance bonus Office-based role in Bedford Supportive finance team with opportunities to improve, contribute and grow If youre a driven Credit Controller looking for your next challenge, Id love to hear from you.
