Job Description Rolling Stock Supervisor BedfordSalary: 56,385.63Shifts: 4 on 4 off, 5 on 5 off shifts, days and nights - 7-7Pension: Up to 10%Bonus: 3% possibly more on company performanceRole Summary:The Technician Supervisor leads a team of maintenance technicians responsible for the inspection, servicing, and repair of rolling stock. The role ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with operational and regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities on rolling stockAllocate tasks, monitor performance, and support technician developmentEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standardsDiagnose faults and support complex technical troubleshootingMaintain accurate maintenance records and reportsCoordinate with operations to minimise downtime and service disruptionRequirements:Proven experience in rolling stock maintenance (rail, tram, or metro)Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is beneficial but not essentialStrong knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systemsUnderstanding of safety regulations and maintenance proceduresGood communication and organisational skillsPlease send cv's to [email protected]
