We’re looking for a Technical Writer to support a high-impact regulatory project by documenting infrastructure systems, procedures, and interactions across a large-scale operational environment.Contract DetailsDaily Rate: £400 per day (inside IR35)Location: Reading (hybrid – twice per month on-site)Contract Length: 6 months (with visibility to extend)Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with SMEs to gather technical information on infrastructure systems.Produce clear, auditable documentation including procedures and system diagrams.Create and maintain Visio diagrams showing system interactions (IP addresses, ports, etc.).Translate complex technical data into structured Word documents.Ensure documentation meets regulatory and audit standards.Work independently to manage tasks and follow up with busy stakeholders.Key RequirementsExperience as a Technical Writer in an operational or infrastructure environment.Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.High resilience and persistence in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and Word.Familiarity with IP addressing, ports, and server infrastructure.Start Date: ASAP
