Role | Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary Experience | 1 years previous secretarial experience Based | Luton Offer | £24,000 - £28,000 per annum – depending on experienceWe are working with a fantastic law firm based on the outskirts of Luton who are looking to hire a Legal Secretary to join their Residential Conveyancing team. They’re ideally looking for a secretary with a background within Residential Conveyancing, however they would be open to discussing the role with candidates from a secretary outside of the legal field who is looking to get into law.Typical duties would include:Supporting solicitors and partners with the day-to-day running of their files.The production of documents and correspondence using audio/copy typing.Undertaking searches and processing post-completion actions.Setting up new files accurately and speedily on instruction.Dealing promptly and accurately with all filing and storage/retrieval requirements.The successful candidate:Previous experience as a secretary, preferably within a law firm.Excellent interpersonal skills and clear written and oral communication.Proven audio typing experience.Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage workload efficiently.IT literate – proven IT skills, including case management systems, MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.It would be beneficial but isn’t essential if the successful candidate had a legal background within Residential Conveyancing.If this role looks like the new challenge that you are looking for, please apply via the advert or contact Calum at Eclectic Recruitment.We endeavour to reply to every candidate, every time, but if you haven’t heard back within 10 days, please understand that you have unfortunately been unsuccessful for this position, or the position has been filled.
