The client is a young woman in her 20s with a brain injury and epilepsy. She requires assistance with daily living activities, community access, regaining independence, budgeting, and fatigue management. In addition, the support workers may be occasionally required to accompany the client on holidays abroad or within the UK. Candidates with a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are preferred.Working Hours:* Monday - 17.00-20.00* Tuesday - 08.00-20.00* One weekend per month of Saturday and Sunday - 08.30-16.00* Holiday cover of the other support worker when applicable.Key Responsibilities:* Provide high-quality support and care to our client, promoting their well-being and independence.* Assist the client in organising activities of daily living and accessing the local community.* Support the client in regaining independence, including budgeting and fatigue management.* Maintain accurate and detailed daily reports and collaborate closely with the treating Neuropsychologist, Occupational Therapist, and Physiotherapist.* Attend team meetings to discuss client progress.* Adhere to all relevant health and safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following Covid-19 precautions.Job Requirements:* Well-presented, motivated, and enthusiastic individuals with a passion for care.* Previous experience in providing care and support for individuals with brain or spinal injuries is desirable.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with the client and team members.* Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate a high level of initiative.* Flexible availability to work according to the provided 2-week rota schedule.* Self-employed status.Application Process: If you possess the necessary qualifications and skills, we invite you to apply for this role.
