Job DescriptionWe are looking to recruit a skilled Mechanical Technician on behalf of a leading multinational manufacturing business.This hands-on role involves maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Working closely with the engineering and production teams, you will help to minimise downtime and improve overall equipment reliability.Key Responsibilities:Carry out planned preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.Diagnose faults and undertake repairs on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise disruption.Assist with machine installations, modifications, and upgrades.Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.What Were Looking For:A relevant engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent).Proven experience in a similar maintenance role within a manufacturing or automotive environment.Knowledge of PLCs, conveyors, motors, pumps, and automated systems (desirable).A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to improvement.Flexibility and a conscientious approach to work.Whats in It for You?Competitive salary and benefits package.A dynamic and supportive working environment.Opportunities for growth and career development.If you're a proactive Technician looking for your next challenge, wed love to hear from you!
