Mechanical Technician / Permanent position / Beccles / Salary £36,210 per annum.Position 1 Recruitment is seeking a skilledMechanical Technicianto join our clients team. This includes disassembling and reassembling machinery (which may take up to 4 hours), performing tool changes, and ensuring all machines run safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures and standards.Key Responsibilities:Maintain machines and carry out tool changes according to company proceduresDisassemble and reassemble machinery as needed (may take up to 4 hours)Complete quality control (QC) checks every 2 hours or when requested by your supervisorFollow all visual and functional QC procedures, ensuring bores are well-formed and seals are crease-freeImmediately report any non-conforming products and assist in corrective actionsContinually monitor the production line for visual defectsAccurately complete all production records, check sheets, and pallet labelsNotify your supervisor of any unexpected machine stoppages or faultsFollow correct procedures for tool and colour changes, as per training or work instructionsEnsure machines operate safely and efficiently at all times in accordance with the Blow mould programmeClear all old top/tail waste from machines before starting new productionFollow correct blow down procedures on PVC machines as outlined in the work instructionThe idealMechanical Technicianwill have some hands-on experience in mechanical work, especially with assembling or disassembling parts in a manufacturing or automotive setting. Experience with tool changes is a plus, but not required. Candidates should hold at least a Level 2 Mechanical qualification or a Light Vehicle qualification.NOTE: This company does not provide visa sponsorshipJBRP1_UKTJ
