Maintenance Supervisor

Maxwell Stephens Recruitment is supporting an iconic organisation in their search for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor. This role will oversee maintenance across three key London sites, ensuring facilities are safe, compliant, and well-maintained. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in general building maintenance whos keen to take ownership of multi-site operations and help shape a more modern, data-driven approach to building management. The Role Reporting to the Office Manager, youll support the delivery of both planned and reactive maintenance activities. Key duties include: Conducting regular inspections across several London locations. Performing a variety of handyman tasks plumbing, electrics, painting, decorating, etc. Coordinating and supervising external contractors. Ensuring safety compliance, including fire safety systems and risk assessments. Acting as a keyholder and overseeing building security. Assisting in the rollout of a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and the digitalisation of maintenance records and planning. What Youll Need 3+ years experience in a maintenance or facilities-related role. A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills. Practical experience across general building repairs. Solid knowledge of Health & Safety and building compliance. Experience managing both reactive and planned maintenance. Good IT skills with an understanding of maintenance systems (e.g. CMMS). A full UK driving licence and flexibility for occasional travel and out-of-hours work.
