Health and Safety Consultant – Swindon, BristolOur client is a successful and growing business looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Health and Safety Consultant in Swindon or Bristol covering the M4 corridorResponsibilities will include: Produce and agree a “scope of work” with each client. The scope of work will agree the specific work to be completed for each individual client and also agree and timescales for completion of the workProduce risk assessments, safe systems of work, method statements, policies etcCarry out site audits, inspections etcCarry out accident investigations, analyse trends, produce reports and aid in the preparation of a legal defence should this prove necessaryAid in the securing of new and retention of existing health 'safety businessDevise, develop and deliver Risk Management strategies for assigned clients plus acting in support of clients assigned to your colleaguesDevise and deliver training to colleagues, clients etc (As agreed with the Training Manager)Deliver technical support to colleagues, clients, others etcRepresent the Company and client when dealing with enforcing authorities, insurance companies etcConduct liability surveys and produce associated report / risk recommendationKnowledge, Experience and qualifications required:Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent(If you do not have the relevant qualifications you must be prepared to work towards these)Cert/Grad IOSH MinimumExcellent communication skillsAdaptable team memberHappy to travel to client sitesOverviewHealth, Safety and Fire Consultant – Risk Management ConsultancyRegional travel in your area covering the M4 Corridor, Swindon, Bristol£40,000 - £50,000Key Skills: Health & Safety, Consultancy, NEBOSH, IOSH,NVQ, Diploma, ConsultantThis is an excellent opportunity responsible for supporting the company with all aspects of health, safety and environment and contributing to the Health & Safety culture across the business, the opportunity offers a competitive salary and excellent company benefits.We thank you for your interest in this vacancy.
