You’ll support the Royal Navy Submarine Fleet across Structures, Naval Architecture, Seamanship, Outfitting, and Design Change disciplines.Day-to-day, you’ll work on a wide range of projects involving submarine structures across the defence sector, with fantastic opportunities to learn and develop professionally. Your role will include:Structural assessments using hand calculations and Finite Element AnalysisDesign and assessment for explosive shock survivabilityTechnical investigations and feasibility studiesManagement and assessment of structural defectsStructural safety certification and support to future platform projectsThis role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.Essential Experience Of The Structures EngineerWe welcome applications from graduates, early-career professionals, and experienced engineers.
