Facilities Project EngineerLocation: FiltonIndustry: AerospaceAbout the Role: We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Facilities Project Engineer to join our team in Filton. In this role, you will take ownership of multiple medium to large-scale facilities projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders to provide best-value solutions, maintain compliance, and support our high-performance environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end delivery of concurrent facilities projects, from planning to handoverCollaborate with stakeholders to align project outcomes with business objectivesDevelop project scopes, cost estimates, and quotationsOversee the tendering process, contractor selection, and performance managementEnsure regulatory compliance, including RAMS, CDM, and PTW proceduresManage and track project budgets effectivelyCoordinate the full project lifecycle, from customer requirements to completionCommunicate proactively with stakeholders, ensuring clear updates and expectationsCompile final project documentation, including ‘as-built’ drawings and recordsAdhere to internal policies, processes, and governance throughout project deliveryWhat You’ll Bring:Essential:Proven experience in project management within a manufacturing or industrial environmentWorking knowledge of CDM regulationsStrong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems/servicesExcellent planning and risk mitigation skillsCommercial and contractual awarenessSolid grasp of building infrastructure and facilities managementProficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)Desirable:HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringIOSH or NEBOSH Health & Safety certificationWe’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, highly organised, and commercially minded, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.What We Offer:Competitive salary (based on experience)Industry-leading pension scheme (up to 8% matched contribution)Life assurance (8x salary)25 days holiday + bank holidaysFlexible working hours (including early finish at 12 noon on Fridays)Income protectionShopping discounts and Cycle to Work SchemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeVirtual GP access for you and your immediate familyA dynamic, collaborative work environment
