Logistics Coordinator

Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a proactive Shipping Coordinator to manage the smooth flow of goods in and out of our factory. In this role, you’ll ensure consignments reach Rotork offices and customers globally, while coordinating imports of essential components.What you’ll do:Prepare and dispatch shipments quickly and cost-effectively, meeting customer and country-specific requirements.Liaise with internal teams, customers, and agents to streamline shipping processes.Take ownership of shipment status and keep all stakeholders informed.Work with external agencies such as HM Customs, shipping lines, and banks.Handle documentation for customs compliance and international regulations.Book shipments, prepare invoices, and maintain accurate records.Provide specialist shipping advice across departments and global offices.Support the Shipping Team Leader and cover departmental needs when required.QualificationsExperience RequirementsExperience in a shipping / import / export environmentKnowledge of international business practicesGood knowledge of export controlsGood knowledge of the transport of hazardous goodsThe Successful CandidateWill posses excellent customer communication skillsWill be a methodical and logical thinker Will be team focused and will work well with othersAdditional InformationRotork is the market-leading global flow control and instrumentation company, helping our customers manage the flow or liquids, gases and powders across many industries worldwide.Our purpose is Keeping the World Flowing for Future Generations.For over sixty years, the world has relied on us to create the things that keep everything moving.
