Their work spans residential, mixed-use and increasingly, renewable energy developments. You’ll work closely with land, design, and construction teams, coordinate with external consultants, and engage directly with local planning authorities. You’ll also support junior team members and help shape planning strategy in the South West. The role includes growing involvement in renewables—supporting planning for solar and other energy infrastructure schemes alongside more traditional development projects.PRINCIPAL TOWN PLANNER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:MRTPI qualified, or working towardsStrong experience in residential and/or mixed-use developmentInterest or experience in renewable energy projects is desirableSolid background in consultancy, developer, or local authority rolesExcellent communication, report writing and client engagement skillsDeep understanding of the English planning systemOrganised, commercially minded, and proactiveTO BE CONSIDERED:Please either apply through this advert or email me directly at dan.butler@.
