Electrical Projects EngineerPlease make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.Location: BridgwaterSalary: 50,000Shift: Monday - Friday DaysA growing and well-established manufacturer in Bridgwater is looking to recruit an Electrical Projects Engineer to support ongoing investment across its production facilities.This is a hands-on role focused on machinery installation, automation and electrical projects, working closely with the engineering team to support the delivery of new equipment and production improvements across site.The position would suit an electrically biased engineer with strong experience in PLC-controlled manufacturing environments, who enjoys working on installations, commissioning and automation improvements rather than purely reactive maintenance.The RoleWorking as part of the engineering team, you will support electrical and automation projects across the site.Typical responsibilities include:Supporting installation and commissioning of new production machineryDelivering electrical aspects of CAPEX projects across manufacturing linesInstalling electrical containment, cabling and control panels for new equipmentCarrying out on-site electrical work including cable pulling, terminations and testingSupporting upgrades, relocations and modifications of existing machineryPLC fault finding and diagnostics on production equipmentSupporting PLC programming and controls modifications where requiredCommissioning equipment including PLCs, HMIs, drives and automation systemsWorking alongside OEMs and system integrators during machinery installsSupporting automation and controls improvement projects across production linesMaintaining electrical schematics, PLC backups and system documentationThis role offers a varied mix of electrical installation work, automation support and project delivery within a live manufacturing environment.What We're Looking ForStrong electrical engineering background within manufacturing or production environmentsExperience working on PLC controlled machineryPLC fault finding experience (Siemens systems ideal)Exposure to PLC programming or controls modifications beneficialExperience with inverters / VSDs, motors, sensors and control panelsExperience supporting machinery installations or engineering projectsComfortable working alongside OEMs or system integratorsNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Installation18th Edition Wiring RegulationsEngineers from FMCG, food production, pharmaceutical, packaging or automotive manufacturing environments are all encouraged to apply.PackageSalary 50,000Overtime available hourly rate22 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing to 25 with serviceGuaranteed Christmas and New Year shutdownPension - 4% employer contributionAnnual Pay ReviewsFree on-site parkingOn-site canteenBike to Work schemeCompany uniformWellbeing platform including GP access and retail discountsInterested? xjdpvnf If you're an electrical engineer with strong PLC and manufacturing experience looking to get involved in machinery installs and automation projects, this role offers a great opportunity to join a business continuing to invest heavily in its site and equipment.
